It's worth taking care of your coffee machine
In a premium espresso machine like the Jura Z10, every detail matters, including the care of the machine. Decalcification is a key part of maintenance that preserves not only the full flavor of the coffee, but also the reliability of operation for a long time.
Hard water over time causes limescale buildup, which can restrict the flow, reduce the temperature of the drink and negatively affect its quality.
Fortunately, the Jura Z10 will let you know on its own when it's time to descale. It's an intuitive, simple process that helps you avoid malfunctions and keep your machine running at full capacity.
Take care of your machine - let every coffee taste exactly as it should: rich, aromatic and always perfect.

Worth knowing
Two important factors affect the frequency of the descaling process:
- Set water hardness - When we first start up, we test and set the water hardness of our appliance to determine the water parameters and the frequency of the descaling process. Therefore, it is important that the water hardness is tested correctly.
- Water filter - Use of a water filter COFFIX CF101(High-quality filter replacement - like Jura Claris) improves the taste of the coffee, but most importantly reduces the amount of limescale deposited inside the machine. So it's worth taking care of your machine and changing the water filter regularly.
