Melitta Latticia OT - Filter replacement

Replacing the water filter in the coffee machine Melitta Latticia OT is one of the key maintenance activities that ensure the longevity of the machine and the excellent taste of brewed coffee. The water filter removes impurities and lime deposits, protecting the machine from calcification and improving the quality of the beverages prepared. Regular replacement of the filter is therefore essential to enjoy the full aroma and flavor of every cup of coffee.

Melitta Latticia OT step by step water filter replacement

We will use a filter for replacement COFFIX CF103. This is a high quality replacement for the filter - as Melitta Pro Aqua, which perfectly purifies water and gives it a perfect taste.

The filter should be replaced according to the indications of the machine , but not less than once every two months.

If the screen displays the filter icon , replace the water filter.

1. Unpack the filter COFFIX CF103 and immerse in water for about 3 minutes. This will allow you to fill and vent the filter, which is necessary before installing it.
2. Remove the water tank and use the supplied wrench to unscrew the old water filter.
3. Press the Water/Service button for more than 2 seconds to invoke the service mode.
4. Press the Water/Service button several times until the water filter icon appears .
5. Press the Coffee Power button , so that one coffee bean appears.
6. Press the Water/Service button  For more than 2 seconds. Activation of the filter is triggered.
7. Drip tray symbol flashes , empty the tray and grounds container
8. Insert the drip tray without the grounds container. Place the grounds container under the spout of the coffee maker.
9. The water symbol lights up , we empty the water tank.
10. We put on the new filter by tightening it to the tank connector with a wrench.
11. Fill the water tank to capacity.
12. We put the water tank in its place. - The filter is flushed with water.
13. Empty the grounds container.
14. We put the grounds container in its place in the drip tray.
