Saeco Lirika - filter replacement
Replacing the water filter in the Saeco Lirika coffee machine is one of the most important maintenance tasks. The use of the filter makes it easier to get flavor-perfect, purified water that is free of lime deposits to protect the machine from scaling.
We use the filter COFFIX CF105. This is a high quality replacement for the filter - as Brita Intenza+, which will perfectly purify the water and give it a perfect taste.
Saeco Lirika water filter replacement step by step
If the machine displays the message , replace the water filter. Replace the filter as indicated by the machine, not less than once every two months.
- Unpack the filter COFFIX CF105 and immerse in water for about 3 minutes to fill and vent the filter.
- Remove the water tank.
- We take out the old filter and put on the new filter by pressing it against the connector.
- Fill the water tank to capacity.
- We put the tank in its place.
- Go to the programming menu of the device by holding down two buttons at once for more than 2 seconds; >Latte MacchiatoCappuccino<.
- Then press the power button on the machine to enter the programming menu.
- Press the MENU button until the Filter icon is displayed.
- Press the reset option, or activate the filter ( select ON ) if you have not done so before.
- Exit the programming menu.
- Stand the vessel under the spout, press the MENU button and run hot water to vent the filter.
- After rinsing with about 200ml of water, we stop the process.
Worth knowing
- Before inserting the filter, remove the strainer located in the water filter slot.
- When hot water is started, the coffee maker may be noisy due to the venting of the water filter.
- Change the water filter at least once every two months.
